Target Operating Systems
Solutions:
Personalize patient’s meal log.
We had to come up with a way to log meals that would be best fitting for people with different tastes and habits. For example some people are vegetarians, or don’t like certain kitchen etc. That’s why we ncluded a large library of food icons separated in different categories for better visualizing of their own meals. It’s also easier for scanning than just reading text.
Motivate users to log by showing numbers and stats.
It’s well known from research that gamification and seeing statistics improve users trust and motivation to use digital products. We implemented a screen where users can see chart showing how many meals they were eating per day for the past week, month, year. Another useful statistic is the top meals that are eaten, which can further increase awareness and improve healthy eating.
Connect with clinicians and get weekly feedback from them.
My support screen is split on two parts - therapists and watchers. Whatchers are family members that give support by just being present and give unjudging attention, where therepist section is beneficial by giving a weekly feedback to patients.
